Bus Stop

Last night I had one of those sweeping, epic, but goes nowhere dream.  It seemed to take hours, and take place in a Murakami-esque crowded (yet silent, yet teeming with life) street.

What stood out was that I was looking out a window onto a street crowded with signs and two-story apartments and stores.  Directly across from me was a rickety old brown-wood bus stop.  It stood out because...while the rest of the street was a cacophony of colors and paint, the bus stop was almost Scandinavian in its aged, unfinished brownness. I had a burning design to take a picture of the bus stop, because I knew I had arrived here from somewhere at some point (I don't think even in my dream did I know when), and the stop itself seemed to have been a time capsule from my last visit, down to the rusty old manual schedule hanging overhead...but I didn't have my camera, and I didn't know who I had to tell.
