Oh Superman
How much do I love M.A.N.D.Y. & Booka Shade's "O Superman?" The answer...a whole lot...the samples/covered vocals are haunting, spooky, and sad. Detached, I think, is a good word. Love it.
Laurie Anderson's original ("O Superman") is amazing as well (and less was reworked than I had imagined). Here's more from Wikipedia.
As an aside, please only listen to that first Booka Shade YouTube link. Viewing it is possibly the worst thing you could do. I warned you.

I met Laurie Anderson way back when - she performed at an EMAC event and knew my teacher. I had never heard of her and I couldn't get past how pretentious and self absorbed she was.
